DAVKEN: UTAH DJ & PRODUCER

Davken is an American DJ, music producer, songwriter, and member of DJ & dance music group OHLR. Davken started piano lessons at age 6, clarinet at 8, oboe at 12, and saxophone at 14. He studied with UC Berkeley music professors and at a young age was invited to perform in multiple San Francisco Bay Area wind symphonies and orchestras. As a multi-instrumentalist, he is able to perform on over 10 different types of instruments by ear.

In high school, at age 16, Davken founded Bass Technologies, a DJ, Event Production, and professional audio visual company, serving Northern California. While he DJed events he also produced tracks as a ghost producer.  He has performed in concerts throughout the United States and multiple countries around the world. Davken has DJed many hundreds of weddings and produced thousands of events over the years. Davken is the only professional DJ in Utah that has completed advanced graduate-level training in live sound reinforcement, studio engineering, and computer science  to master today's complex technologies utilized in live events.  

Davken earned his Associate of Arts degree in Natural Science from Ohlone College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University, and two Master's degrees in Music Technology and Computer Science from Southern Utah University. Davken is uniquely qualified to lead your next event, with years of experience as a DJ/MC, event planner, musician, engineer, and producer.
